Steel Prickly Pear + Ocotillo Sculpture

A dramatic Sonoran Desert sculpture that pairs a densely layered prickly pear cactus with tall, windswept ocotillo branches rising from the same welded base — individually hand-formed in steel, finished with rich hand-painted paddles, textured rust-toned branches, and hand-set blossoms.

Size

Each sculpture stands approximately 4–5' tall, with 12–16 individually shaped prickly pear paddles and 3–5 ocotillo branches arranged in a natural, asymmetrical silhouette. Because each piece is built by hand, exact paddle count, branch count, and overall spread will vary slightly piece to piece — priced the same across that full size range.

Material / Construction

Individually cut, shaped, welded, and hand-painted from steel. The prickly pear paddles are finished in rich plum and rust tones with dimensional hand-set yellow blossoms; the ocotillo branches rise from the same base in a dark, textured steel finish with hand-painted red tips.

Finish Options

Premium Outdoor Matte Coat: a durable, low-sheen automotive-grade clear coat built for prolonged outdoor exposure.

Premium Outdoor Glossy Coat: our most durable finish in a rich glossy sheen, also built for prolonged outdoor exposure.

Both finishes are fully outdoor-durable and priced the same — the choice is purely aesthetic.
