One day, while walking out of our local Fry’s grocery store, I noticed a small, feeble, metal saguaro cactus for sale by the door. I can’t say exactly why it struck me the way it did, but my first thought was “This is not how a saguaro cactus looks.” I was offended. I was determined to create one that looked the way it should: tall, proud, ornate. Admittedly, it took a few iterations to create a saguaro that I felt lived up to those expectations, but all these years later, I still love creating them.
Each one is fully hand-crafted and tells its own story. Some are made of my own desire to create, while many are the result of custom commissions, suiting spaces and preferences, as desired.
